Homesick

This work reflects the conflict in my life represented through the combination of glass and fiber. I want to see myself like glass -- free, independent, and full of potential, but the fact that I can't get away from my culture, family, or experience, limits my life as well as it has supported me. The fiber symbolize my sweet home that is protecting me, holding me, or choking the glass piece.
